I didn't think I'd love the We R Memory Keepers 4x4 Instagram album as much as I do. But I want them ALL now!!! These albums are SO much fun. They are cute and easy too! Here are a few inages of some pages that are complete.

Be free!
If there is one thing I can teach my daughter it's to always be enthusiastic about life! Take that moment to be silly, despite what people may say or think! It'll keep ya young and you'll find happiness in all things!

Pretty Messes
Really...I can't believe I'm sharing pictures of some of my crafty messes!! But I have am excited to share an after. If I can ever get there.
Going through my products and purging is bittersweet for me. I spend so much money on buying all the cute NEW products. That I get so excited to use. When I'm sure you all know of the vicious cycle of this craft and I can spare you the details. So what I have been doing with my older product is, my LSS has table sales every couple of months where I can sell my stuff and in turn get credit for new goodies. But they will be closing soon...SAD DAY! I don't even want to think about that. But nonetheless it is happening. So therefore I will be hitting the next table sale HARD. So I am massively purging my old to make room for new!! Yaaaay. So I should be posting pictures of a less chaotic space and a more open and clutter free craft room!
Valentines Day Mini
I was brave when I used my sewing machine to bind this book together. I broke my last machine binding a book together. Eeek!!! I was feeling risky! Lucky for me, it worked! But I love love love the colors in this line. It is a crate paper line from last year, but I'm trying to challenge myself to get through some of my "older lines" I talk all the time about how hard of a time I have using my cute products. I just let them sit there and every once in a while pull them out and ooh and aww over all the cuteness (insert awkward laugh)!

Just plain behind on this!
I get so behind on posting my new creations?!?! I'm even more behind on using all my new stuff. Before I know it, it's going to be old and I won't even want it. WASTE! For example both of the Maggie Holmes collections. I bought them or got them as gifts and just haven't cracked it open b/c I love it so much I don't want to use it. Then I turn around and I'm so tired if lookng at it I don't want to use it??? WASTE! It's a challenge I am working in overcoming hehe (insert awkward laugh).
So...with that said. December daily has been rough for me this year. I have new exciting product, lots of photos and memorabilia but I just can't seem to find the time "sit" and get it done. Now I'm worried it'll never finish.
It's almost the new year...
For the past 3 years my husband and I venture into the mountains for a New Years getaway just him and I. This year our daughter Maci is old enough to join in on the fun...At least for one night.

Mommy and daddy got her all amped up for the snow, when really the conditions are nothing like what we are use to (lots of snow). But luckily children can easily entertain themselves. We treated ourselves to some hot cocoa and fun on the outdoor toys.
We also bought a sled that of course Maci wanted nothing to do with. She's a very coucious child. That trait comes in handy most of the time. Just not when you want to have some fun on the sled or rides or new toy car or bike etc. she was content pulling mommy and daddy though.
Maci watched mommy and daddy have fun on her sled. Until daddy slid over a rock and broke it in half. I won't lie I still used it 😬 we packed up and headed for home. Maci will get to spend the next two nights with Grandma and Granpa McCartney. Richie and I will be back at Crystal Mountain snowboarding and ringing in the NEW year! It feels quiet with out our little girl here and will take me some time to get use to if I ever do...but we'll still have some fun!
Cheers!

The card with the scraps
I submitted this card for the STUDIO CALICO ( I know I'm obsessed with SC) use your scraps card challenge. I actually really love how it turned out. And I feel great about using up my supplies that normally just go right in the bag and sit there until the end of...well there hasn't been an end. So I guess I just hoard them. I seem to be okay with that most days. Insert "giggle" But to get back on track. I don't haven't been the best card maker in the past. I consider myself a pretty experienced crafter as far as the paper and scissors are concerned. But cards...never my thing.
I have unlocked the secret to my "card block" Yes I am going to refer to it as a diagnosis. I am ready for new projects, like cards. I feel good about making cards when I don't have to cut up my beautiful 12x12 paper that I so love! Hence my scraps and 6x6 paper pads have been my solution. Double win. I use everything and someone special gets the handmade creation by: ME. I am talking about it like it's some secret thing that scraps and 6x6 = cards. But it really has been an enormous break through for me and I am both excited and inspired to just keep creating. It's like discovering a whole new craft! When really it's been within my reach this entire time I've been a scrapbooker.
I will be sure to keep everyone up to date on the ol' card journey that I am on and VERY excited about!
See ya soon!
