Finally had some nice weather to take some photos! Here are the layouts I have been working on.

I love my gorgeous girl. She let's me photograph her whenever I want! She doesn't look at the camera much...but hey she never tells me to stop. I'm so grateful to have a beautiful daughter!!

I know I am not the only one to love a good quote here and there, but what I love about quotes is how inspired you can get from little one liners. it also amazes me that I sit during my lunch breaks and try to gather inspiration from anywhere and anything! But it's those few quiet minutes in the middle of my work day that I think I shut off the engines and appreciate that free time to think.

Travel + Scrapbooking

When Richie and I were packing for Hawaii. I couldn't forget to pack my travel kit. When I say that I mean my SCRAP travel kit. I had my eye on purchasing one of Amy Tangerine's travel kits, but they were sold out everywhere I turned. I had to come up with something else. I used my Studio Calico burlap synch bag that I get in my monthly kits. I packed my Amy Tangerine mini book, stickers, my instax and favorite journaling pens. Other than the beaches, warm weather and time alone with my guy. I was especially excited for photo walks. I couldn't wait to fill up my travel book with thoughts and memories. It is still missing some ephemera and pics, but I am happy with what I had done while there. 

First outdoor shoot of the year

My best friend was gracious enough to allow me the privilege of photographing her this past Sunday. We went to a nearby park and the weather was practically perfect. It was chilly and I felt bad that she was cold, but we got some great shots. She was so great at posing for some beautiful photos. I was also very eager to give my new macro lens a try and I loved it! I just ordered a 50mm 1.4 which I am very excited to receive! Gotta love Amazon!

EXCITED!!!

I have been eyeballing this monthly kit for a while. I finally signed up tonight and I cannot wait to get our first box! It is a super cute idea. I know Maci will love it!
